Chad Taylor: Attorney at Law
Michael Chad Taylor is a seasoned trial attorney with more than 25 years of courtroom experience, bringing a deep understanding of both prosecution and defense to every case he handles. A former prosecutor and conflict defense attorney for the State of Georgia, as well as the Chief Assistant Public Defender for the Brunswick Judicial Circuit, Chad offers clients in Brunswick, Georgia and the surrounding coastal communities the insight that comes from working on both sides of the justice system.
Since beginning his legal career in 1999 and entering private practice in 2012, Chad has represented clients in complex felony jury trials in Superior and Federal Courts, as well as a full range of misdemeanor cases in State Court, including DUI defense. His extensive background makes him a trusted choice for individuals seeking an experienced criminal defense lawyer in Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Glynn County, and throughout Southeast Georgia.
Chad also has significant appellate experience before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, with numerous published and cited cases to his name.
A graduate of Vanderbilt University and the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, Chad has been a resident of St. Simons Island, Georgia since 1992 and remains committed to serving the legal needs of his community.
