George Barnhill: Attorney at Law
George is a lifelong resident of South Georgia whose academic and professional accomplishments reflect a deep commitment to excellence and public service. He graduated magna cum laude from Georgia Southern University in 2010 as a 1906 Honors Graduate and a College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Ruffin Scholar—recognitions reserved for students who demonstrate exceptional scholarship and leadership. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2012, where he further distinguished himself as a member of the Trial Board and the Mediation Team, sharpening the advocacy and negotiation skills that would define his early legal career.
After completing his legal studies, George returned home to South Georgia to serve as a prosecutor for the State of Georgia. In that role, he handled a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases across multiple counties, gaining extensive courtroom experience and developing a reputation for thorough preparation, sound judgment, and a steady, principled approach to criminal prosecution. His work as a prosecutor provided him with a deep understanding of the justice system and the communities he serves, shaping the foundation of his legal career.
